Free website health & search check

Why isn't my website ranking?

Check public website problems and work out what to investigate next. Start with a scan, a few questions, or both. No email or Google account connection needed.

Check your public pages Optional

Use a public information page. Do not include login details, patient information, a question mark or a # fragment. We request that page and up to three linked contact, booking or service pages.

The scan sends this address to our checking service. No forms are submitted. How the checker handles data.

Can this tell me whether Google sees my site as spam?

No public scan can give that verdict. Google’s Manual actions report shows manual actions for your verified site. No manual action does not rule out effects from automated spam systems. An indexed page is not guaranteed to rank well.

You can do this without a scan. Answer for the same website and one important page. Leave anything you have not checked as “I do not know”.

These answers are your own observations, not a Google account check by Kay & Co. They stay in this page and are not stored or sent with the scan.

What this tool can and cannot tell you

The public scan reads returned HTML and response headers from up to four pages. It can flag crawl instructions, indexing directives, canonical hints and common page or enquiry problems. It does not run JavaScript, check your Google account, confirm Google indexing, assess every page or diagnose a ranking algorithm. Passing checks is not proof of search visibility, security, clinical accuracy, accessibility or legal compliance.

A failed scan can mean a server or crawler restriction. It is not evidence that Google has penalised the website.
