Healthcare content planning: choose an audience question

Illustrative situation

A clinic has twelve proposed articles but reception keeps answering one unanswered question about appointment preparation. Publishing the easiest drafts first would leave that gap untouched.

The decision

Choose topics from a named audience task and evidence of repeated confusion. Record where the question appeared before commissioning an article.

Rehearse this before accepting the change

Give a colleague the proposed title and ask which practical question they expect the article to resolve. Rewrite it if their answer differs from the brief.

Use fictional examples and an authorised test environment. Record what happened, the evidence you inspected and any issue that still needs a responsible owner.

Choose a useful measure

Track whether enquiries about that specific unanswered question decline after publication.

Agree the definition and baseline with the team doing the work. Review the result over a comparable period and note other changes that could affect it.

Your planning worksheet

Use these checks to prepare a discussion with your team or supplier. Tick a check when you have recorded the decision or evidence, rather than when a feature has simply been promised.
