What to change
Branding does not establish ownership. Follow the full public route and ask who controls the destination, its content and its continued availability. Compare that arrangement with the current marketing agreement before deciding to replace it. If the page remains useful, record why it is approved and who can maintain it. If the relationship has ended, coordinate the destination change with the practice owner so incoming visitors retain a coherent experience.
A worked example
Illustrative example
Illustrative test: The profile action is tested after a supplier handover.
How to check the result
The organisation can explain and control the destination visitors receive.
A mistake to avoid
An apparently familiar logo does not prove organisational ownership of the page.
Your action checklist
Use these checks to prepare a discussion with your team or supplier. Tick a check when you have recorded the decision or evidence, rather than when a feature has simply been promised.
