State when a service is only available at one branch

A practice promotes a service across its website, while the relevant room or equipment exists at just one location. Visitors assume their nearest branch provides it.

What to change

Make location availability part of the service description and the booking invitation. The service page should answer where before asking someone to choose a time.

A worked example

Illustrative example

A practice with three branches explains that its fitting appointments take place at the Riverside site. The other branches remain listed as practice locations, with no suggestion that the same appointment can be booked there.

How to check the result

A visitor arriving from a profile or service listing reaches the same location information as someone entering through the homepage.

A mistake to avoid

Do not rely on a location selector to correct an earlier statement that promised availability throughout the practice.

Your action checklist

Use these checks to prepare a discussion with your team or supplier. Tick a check when you have recorded the decision or evidence, rather than when a feature has simply been promised.
