Explain partial translation without implying missing services

Some practice pages are translated while others are still available only in the source language. Readers may assume an absent translated page means the service itself is unavailable to them.

What to change

Describe the scope of translated information and provide a route to ask about the service. Avoid making service eligibility appear dependent on which content has been translated.

A worked example

Illustrative example

A translated welcome section covers booking enquiries and arrival information. It explains where to ask about services whose full descriptions are available in another language, without suggesting those services are excluded.

How to check the result

Readers can distinguish a content-language limitation from a rule about who may use the practice.

A mistake to avoid

Do not present a short translated summary as a complete equivalent when material booking information is absent.

Your action checklist

Use these checks to prepare a discussion with your team or supplier. Tick a check when you have recorded the decision or evidence, rather than when a feature has simply been promised.
